Rudy Fernandez is set to play for Real Madrid for the next three seasons after reaching an agreement with the Spanish giants, MARCA reports.

It will be his second spell with Real after playing for the club in 2011-2012 season during NBA lockout.

The 27-year-old Spanish international was one of the key players for Real Madrid this season before heading back to Denver Nuggets. Fernandez averaged 11.5 points per game in Euroleague.

Even though Fernandez has recently declared his intention to stay in Denver, the offer presented by Real Madrid was too good to refuse.

Fernandez played 31 games in the NBA this season averaging 8.6 points and 2.4 rebounds.

American power forward Marcus Slaughter is also reportedly agreed terms with Real Madrid.

After the news about the move spread, the player himself said on Twitter that he hasn’t decided yet whether to stay in the NBA or head back to Real Madrid.
