Former Dallas Mavericks and German national team star Dirk Nowitzki recently noted that he is “completely at peace” with his decision to retire from professional basketball last year.

“Instead, I kept looking out there and I didn’t feel anything,” Nowitzki told the The Dallas Morning News this week. “I can honestly say I didn’t miss it at all. I couldn’t picture myself being out there. I guess that shows I’m completely at peace with it.”
“I’m very happy, and busy,” Nowitzki added, via The Dallas Morning News. “I would have thought I would have slowed down by now, but I really haven’t.”
