Anthony Davis will have to decide on his future this offseason. The chances that he stays with the Lakers are high, especially if they win the title. However, long-term commitment is another topic.

According to Marc Berman of NY Post, AD will likely take into consideration the age of LeBron James when making a decision on his future. This could lead to Davis signing a short-term deal with the Lakers.

“Odds are, the Lakers are headed to a dreamy postseason, maybe even to their 17th championship if everyone stays healthy. At that point, Davis will stay.

However, some agents believe it’s not out of the possibility that Davis pulls ‘a LeBron.’

James was the pioneer who originally signed the original ‘one-and-one deal’ — a game-changing short-term commitment.”
