On this day in 2014, Carmelo Anthony made history at Madison Square Garden, scoring a career-high and New York Knicks record 62 points.

Anthony’s 62 points passed Bernard King’s MSG scoring record of 60 points.

Anthony was 23-35 from the field, 6-11 from three-point and 10-10 from the free-throw line.

He also grabbed 13 rebounds to give him a double-double.
