Kevin Durant is still not expected to play for the Brooklyn Nets this season, as confirmed by the team’s head coach Kenny Atkinson.

“He’s progressing, he’s working really hard…He’s a quiet personality but when he needs to say something he says it. He’s a guy who likes to work in the shadows,” Atkinson told reporters, yet he ruled out the possibility of Durant playing this season.

The two-time NBA champion is recovering from an Achilles injury he suffered in the 2019 NBA Finals.
