LA Clippers superstar Paul George shared his thoughts on the return of Russell Westbrook to Oklahoma City for the first time as an opponent.

“Russell means way more than I did in Oklahoma, and I got a standing ovation. I expect nonstop cheering. Nonstop appreciation. I’m guessing the cheering will be off the radar, as if it isn’t Loud City already,” George said, per Ben Golliver of the Washington Post.

Westbrook and George were teammates in OKC for two seasons (2017-2019). Westbrook will make his return to Oklahoma City on Thursday night (09/01), when the Thunder host the Houston Rockets.
