Carmelo Anthony scored a season-high 28 points (10/17 FG including the game-winning shot, 5/8 3PT, 3/3 FT), grabbed seven rebounds and tallied two steals in the Portland Trail Blazers’ 101-99 victory over the Toronto Raptors at Scotiabank Arena on Tuesday. Damian Lillard posted 20 points along with nine assists, while Hassan Whiteside added 14 points, 16 rebounds and seven blocks. The Blazers improved to 16-22, whereas the Raptors dropped to 24-13.

“I was really proud of the way our team competed tonight, particularly in the fourth quarter. At the end of the season, you look back on different games, and this could very well be a game that we look back on that turned the tide,” Portland coach Terry Stotts said, per ESPN.
