The Brooklyn Nets are planning to sign swingman Justin Anderson to a 10-day contract.

Teams can start signing players to 10-day contracts on Jan. 5.

The Nets will also be waiving David Nwaba who was ruled out for the rest of the season with a torn Achilles tendon.

Anderson has been playing in the G-League for the Raptors 905, averaging 21.2 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists per game.

He has appeared in 216 games in his career for the Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers and Atlanta Hawks.
