LeBron James scored 23 points (on 9/16 shooting), grabbed three rebounds, handed out 11 assists, tallied two steals, and blocked a shot in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 125-103 home victory over the Washington Wizards on Friday night. After the game, LeBron shared his thoughts on Lakers’ 17-2 start:

”We have championship aspirations, but that’s not what’s here right now. What’s here is our next opponent. We want to continue to get better. We have guys who have been there and know what it takes. This is a long process, and we can never shortcut it. But we can enjoy it along the way,” James said, per Yahoo Sports.

The Lakers, who have won 10 straight games for the first time since 2009, are 1st in the Pacific Division with a 17-2 record.
