Per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, Carmelo Anthony is not expected to make his debut with the Portland Trail Blazers until Tuesday, at the earliest.
The 10-time All-Star has to complete a physical with the Blazers before the one-year, non-guaranteed contract is finalized. That could come as soon as Saturday, per Wojnarowski.
The Blazers are starting a six-game road trip that includes a game on Saturday against the San Antonio Spurs before Monday’s game against the Houston Rockets.
Portland will face the New Orleans Pelicans on Tuesday.
