LeBron James posted 25 points (on 10/19 shooting), four rebounds, and six assists in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 95-80 home victory against his former squad, the Miami Heat, on Friday. After the game, James talked on his motivation:

“I’m extra motivated to put myself in a position where I know I belong. It’s my personal motivation every single night to be on the floor and be great,” James said, per USA Today.

This season, James is averaging 26.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 10.5 assists per game, while shooting at 48.7% from the floor.

The Lakers (7-1) won their seventh consecutive game and have the longest winning streak since 2011.
