Jorge Garbajosa will no longer be representing Spain in international tournaments. 33-year-old forward decided it was the right time end his career in the national team.
During eleven years of international career Garbajosa was a key player for Spain. With him on the roster Spain won six medals, the most notable ones were gold in FIBA World Championship 2006 and gold in EuroBasket 2009.
Spain will try to defend their European title later this year in Lithuania. Even though Garbajosa will not be wearing the vest of the national team, Spain has a very strong front line already.
