Giannis Antetokounmpo talked about winning the 2019 NBA MVP Award and the comparison with the star of the Houston Rockets, James Harden.

“That’s their opinion. They’re gonna have James’ back. I’m never gonna say I’m better than James (Harden). But, the trophy’s in my house,” the “Greek Freak” told Vincent Goodwill of Yahoo Sports.

Antetokounmpo also referred to the 2019 Eastern Conference Finals and his matchup with Kawhi Leonard.

“When you get to that moment, maybe I wasn’t ready. Maybe my game wasn’t ready. But that’s OK. As long as you learn from it.

I learned a lot from him (Leonard). He knocked down free throws. He was calm. When double-teams came, he was swinging the ball but getting it right back. He was aggressive. He was calm but he was on a mission,” the star of the Milwaukee Bucks said.
