Team USA, France and Australia remained undefeated in the Basketball World Cup (4-0) and advanced to the Quarter-Finals.

Team USA rallied past Greece and Giannis Antetokounmpo (69-53), while France survived a late thriller against Lithuania (78-75).

For its part, Australia overpowered the Dominican Republic earlier today (82-76). The eighth and final team of the quarter-finals will be decided between Greece, Brazil and the Czech Republic.

The Czechs crushed the Brazilians (71-93) and now have the tie-breaker. They will be eliminated if they lose to Greece by 12 or more points or if they lose to Greece by any margin and Brazil beats Team USA.

For their part, Brazil has to defeat the Americans to qualify for the next round, given that Greece will also overpower the Czech Republic.

Concerning Greece, they have to earn a 12-point or more victory over the Czechs and, at the same time, they will expect Team USA to claim the win against Brazil.

Lithuania and the Dominican Republic have been eliminated.

The eighth day of the tournament also saw New Zealand, Canada, Turkey and Germany win their respective opponents in the classification games (17-32).
