Puerto Rico came back from an eight-point deficit in the fourth quarter and edged Tunisia to advance to the Round of 16 (67-64).

Tunisia was in front by eight (52-60), but Puerto Rico turned things around and tied the game (64-64).

With five seconds to go, Gary Browne made the three-pointer and gave his team the win, as Makram Ben Romdhane missed the game-tying three-pointer at the buzzer.

Renaldo Balkman had a game-high 14 points for the winners, who closed the match on an 8-0 run. On the other hand, Salah Mejri posted 14 points for the losing squad.

Puerto Rico advanced to the next round of the Basketball World Cup for the first time since 2002.
