Bogdan Bogdanovic suggests solution for basketball flopping

Bogdan Bogdanovic shared an unusual proposal for how basketball could crack down on flopping, suggesting the sport adopt a punishment similar to soccer’s red card system.

The veteran guard believes players who exaggerate contact in order to gain an advantage should face immediate consequences after video review.

“I think its time for a red card in basketball.”

Bogdanovic explained that if officials determine a player intentionally flopped to influence a play, the punishment should be severe and automatic.

“If you flop to get advantage on a play, play gets reviewed, instant red card.”
