Eight-time NBA All-Star Vince Carter, who signed a one-year deal with the Atlanta Hawks this summer, was asked about a potential return to the Toronto Raptors this offseason:

“It was just about whoever was interested. I tried to stay away from – I’m not really one for the hype like that. I wanted to be on a team that wanted me. I’m thankful for the fact that I can still get phone calls from 10-12 teams showing interest in me at 42 and 43 years old,” Carter said.

This past season, the 42-year-old averaged 7.4 points and 2.6 rebounds in 17.5 minutes per game for the Hawks.
