The LA Clippers are trying to get the best people in every aspect of their organization and the deal with Tyronn Lue is a move to that direction.
Nearly a week ago, Marc Stein broke the news that the Clippers and Lue were closing on a deal.
According to Shams Charania, Lue agreed on a deal to join the Los Angeles Clippers as their top assistast coach.
The former Cleveland Cavaliers’ head coach will join Doc River’s coaching staff providing a strong presence on their bench.
The former champion, as a player (2000,2001) and as a coach (2016), will serve as the lead assistant to a “powerful” roster.
The Clippers added another championship “piece”, after an exceptional summer, in which they signed Kawhi Leonard and traded for Paul George.
