Slovenia will be playing in their first ever Eurobasket semi-final after defeating Croatia. Although the first half was better for Croatians and it seemed that their opponents won't be able to make history, a huge defensive effort by Slovenians in the third quarter helped them to turn the game around. Jure Zdovc' men limited Croatia to just 3 points in the third quarter.
The game could have gone either way as the final period was decisive. Slovenia had 1-point lead and managed to win the game by 2 after Roko-Leni Ukic poured a three-pointer to with one second left to play.
It will be a Balkan semi final as Slovenia face Serbia.
