Jonah Bolden has withdrawn his participation from the 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup, citing personal reasons.
Basketball Australia made the announcement on Sunday (18/08), with Bolden set to return to Philadelphia, where he plays for the 76ers.
“My first thought is always with the player in these situations – having to withdraw from the national team is tough for anyone,” the head coach of Australia, Andrej Lemanis, said.
