In an appearance on ESPN’s Get Up, Richard Jefferson, who spent two seasons with LeBron James in Cleveland, said LeBron will have an extra motivation for the upcoming season after being “disrespected” last year with the Lakers:

“LeBron James will be the best player in basketball next year again. He’s more focused on proving to people that basketball is the most important thing to him and the only way to do that is to go and destroy as many as possible,” Jefferson said.

This past season, James averaged 27.4 points (51 FG%), 8.5 rebounds and 8.3 assists per game.
