According to James Edwards III, small/power forward Michael Beasley has passed on a guaranteed $2.6 million contract in China for the Detroit Pistons deal.

Beasley will be suspended for the first five games of the 2019-20 season by NBA for violating the league’s anti-drug policy.

This past season, the 30-year-old averaged 7.0 points, 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game.
