Slovenia's ambitious Eurobasket 2009 campaign sustained a decisive blow, after the injury of Beno Udrih, which will keep ihm out of the tournament.
The injury was a huge shock for everyone in Slovenia, but especially the the team's coach Jure Zdovc who will now have to base the entire game of his team on Jaka Lakovic and Goran Dragic.
Udrih sustained an injury to his knee ligaments during Wednesday's friendly game against Germany, in Bonn.
Only time will tell if this means the end of Slovenian hopes for winning a medal, for the first time in their history.
