Although his club Chicago Bulls does not want him to compete in Eurobasket, the French Basketball Federation confirmed that Joakim Noah will play for the French National Team, at least in the friendly preparation games before the additional Qualifying Group of Eurobasket 2009.
Noah´s name was among the last 14 to be named for France National Team preparation and he will play for his nation in Strasbourg friendly games, but Chicago Bulls Bulls could still make him sit out of the Eurobasket Qualifying Group and possible the Eurobasket main tournament if Le Blues make it to there.
