Bosnia & Herzegovina national team will have to make it without one of its stars, as Mirza Teletović will not wear the national jersey this year. Hit by injuries throughout the long season (67 games played) and especially by the end of the Spanish league regular season (knee) and in the playoffs (ankle), the TAU forward will take the summer off to fully recover and come back strong next season.
The 22-year-old had the best season so far in his career, being named Copa del Rey MVP and averaging 13 points and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 42% for three in 21 Euroleague games.
The Bosnians are looking to secure a spot in Eurobasket by playing the additional qualifying tournament in group A along with Portugal and Belgium.
