ImageIn the second day of the Efes World Cup held in Ankara, FYROM beat Latvia with 95-74 behind an amazing first quarter that saw the team from the Balkans leading 28-15.

The Latvians tried to fight back leading the game to a high score, but their effort was too short as their opponents were clearly better.

In the second game hosts Turkey lost to an outstanding Germany with 67-74 as Jan Hendrik Jagla scored 16 and Heiko Schaffartzik 12. The Germans won the last period 12-18 and with it the game went to their side.
