In the game for the third place of the Bamberg Tournament, Eurobasket 2009 hosts Poland lost to FYROM with 95-88.
Poland was leading throughout the first half and went to halftime with a 15-point lead (36-51). The National Team of FYROM however fought back in the second half to grab the win with 95-88 securing third place of the tournament.
Stojanovski scored 19 for the winners, Jeremiah Massey had 17, Pero Antic 14, Dime Tasovski 11 and Darius Washington 10.
Poland was led by Maciej Lampe who poured in 20 points, Krzystof Szudarga who had 15, David Logan with 14 andSzymon Szewczyk with 12.
