According to Nikos Varlas of Eurohoops.net, Nigel Williams-Goss will return to the NBA and sign with the Utah Jazz.
Although the American guard was under contract with Olympiacos for the 2019/20 season, there is an NBA buy-out clause, which expires at the end of the month.
Williams-Goss is expected to pay the buy-out in the coming hours or days (around $800.000) and part ways with the “Reds”.
The American player will then sign his three-year contract with the Jazz. Williams-Goss averaged 9.2 points, 4.2 assists and two rebounds in the 2018/19 EuroLeague.
