Jaycee Carroll made the game-winning three-pointer and Real Madrid overpowered Barcelona (81-80) in Game 2 of the ACB Finals (2-0).
Barcelona led by 12 in the third quarter and were in front by nine late in the fourth quarter (65-74).
Yet, the “Whites” went on a 12-5 run and cut the deficit to two, with 19 seconds remaining (77-79).
Sergio Llull missed one free throw (78-80), but Rudy Fernandez took the offensive rebound and the ball eventually got to Carroll, who nailed the game-winning three-pointer.
Carroll finished the game with a team-high 25 points for the winners, whereas Thomas Heurtel had a game-high 30 points for the losing squad.
Game 3 will be played on Wednesday (19/06).
