AEK Athens took to Twitter and announced that the club has parted ways with head coach Luca Banchi.
Under the Italian coach, AEK won the 2019 FIBA Intercontinental Cup, but was eliminated in the Basketball Champions League quarterfinals by Brose Bamberg.
They also failed to reach the Greek League Finals, after getting eliminated by Promitheas Patras in the semifinals.
