The Charlotte Hornets announced small/power forward Michael Kidd-Gilchrist underwent successful surgery.
The 25-year-old is expected to make a full recovery and will be available for the start of the team’s training camp in September.
Last season, Kidd-Gilchrist averaged 6.7 points, 1.0 assist and 3.8 rebounds in 18.4 minutes per game.
