Zalgiris Kaunas crushed Rytas Vilnius (92-54), swept the Lithuanian League Finals (3-0) and claimed its ninth straight title.
Zalgiris was unstoppable and led from start to finish to earn an easy victory. Rytas never recovered from an early double-digit deficit (20-9, 43-20, 78-36) and was easily defeated.
Edgaras Ulanovas had a team-high 15 points for the winners, whereas Martynas Echodas posted a game-high 17 points for the losing squad.
This was the 21st Lithuanian League title in the history of the club.
