Zaragoza upset Baskonia in Game 1 of the ACB playoffs (81-91), bringing the Basques to the brink of elimination.
Zaragoza outscored Baskonia 14-26 in the second quarter and never looked back. They led by 16 points at halftime (34-50) and earned the victory, as Baskonia never threatened again.
Stan Okoye had a game-high 21 points for the winners, with Renaldas Seibutis adding 16 points. On the other hand, Jayson Granger and Vincent Poirier scored 21 points apiece for the losing squad.
Game 2 of the best-of-three series will be played in Zaragoza on Sunday (02/06).
