Deividas GailiusItalian club Virtus Bologna has officially announced the signing of a 22-year-old Lithuanian guard-forward Deividas Gailius from Siauliai. The player spent only one season in Siauliai which was enough to draw attention of the big clubs.

Gailius averaged 13.7 points per game in Lithuanian league last season, making 40.6% of his three-point shots. During five games in Eurocup he averaged 9.4 points and 4.6 rebounds per game. He will play with Lithuanian reserve national team this summer and will aim to get a spot in the main team.

Siauliai lost their third key players after the departure of Deividas Gailius has been officially announced. The other two who had already left the team for bigger clubs are Arvydas Siksnius (Lietuvos Rytas) and Mindaugas Kuzminskas (Zalgiris). American point guard Derrick Low will also leave the team.
