In an interview with the Lithuanian website 15min.lt, the center of the Memphis Grizzlies Jonas Valanciunas talked about Sarunas Jasikevicius.

On whether Jasikevicius is ready to coach in the NBA: “He would need to make adjustments, but everything is possible for him. He is still growing coaching and he knows how to adapt and what to change to become an NBA head coach. I think there would be no problem with it.”
On the Grizzlies negotiations with Jasikevicius: “Memphis asked me about Saras: about his personality, my relationship with him. I think Saras is a unique coach. Not every coach could handle Zalgiris like he did. I think he deserves NBA head coaching job.”
