Cajasol Seville lost the definitive third game against Real Madrid (67-60) to reach quarter-finals round in the ACB league from Spain. In another great game on defense by Cajasol, controlling the pace of the game to get low scores, only Garbajosa and the offensive rebound of Real made very difficult for the sevillian team to get their target.

Cajasol started the game, this time, very concentrated to avoid getting a big disadvantage like it happened in the second game of the series. The game was played at a very hard, brain-breaking pace full of changes of the leading team on the score, but finally Real Madrid managed to get the win at home, and they’ll meet Caja Laboral in the semifinals.

The main problem for Cajasol was the control of their defensive rebound. Real Madrid’s players always and always went for the offensive rebounds after every missed shoot, and thanks to their physical advantage up to sixteen times they managed to get it. Too many chances for the rival.

Moreover Jorge Garbajosa just like in the previous game, hitted a couple of three-pointers in key moments to keep advantage for Real Madrid. Efforts made by Ty Ellis and Dusko Savanovic were in vane. In the end, just simply won the more talented team, but we must thank Cajasol for being the only team to arriva to the third game of the series.

So now the season is over for Cajasol, after a very successful season in which they managed to reach playoffs after ten years. It will be a hard summer to maintan their main players, and with a new target for the next season: to play Eurocup and make good job there.
