Game 5 between Crvena Zvezda and Buducnost was delayed for almost an hour, following a physical assault of Zvezda’s supporters to Buducnost’s players.

The team from Podgorica entered the arena, but was immediately forced to return to the locker room, after being attacked by the Serbian club’s supporters.

Per Buducnost’s official statement: “When our players set out to enter the arena, total hysteria and shooting with all possible hard things went off: coins, phone batteries, stones, full bottles, broom parts, lighters, chairs.

About 40 fans entered the court and came to the bench of KK Budućnost Voli, they spit on and physically attacked our players. Cole, Earl Clark, and Nemanja Gordic. Gordic was hit with a chair stolen by a fan.”

After almost an hour, the game started, as Buducnost returned to the floor.
