Real Madrid dominated Panathinaikos at home (78-63), took a 2-0 lead in the best-of-five series and now is one win away from the Final Four.

The “Whites” trailed only in the first 90 seconds and cruised to a commanding victory. The defending champions led by as many as 21 points (59-38) and never looked back. The “Greens” never threatened and now need to make an epic come-back and bring the series back to Madrid.

Four players scored in double figures for the winners, with Facundo Campazzo leading the way with 13 points, nine assists, seven rebounds, five steals and a PIR of 26. DeShaun Thomas (13 points) and Sean Kilpatrick (10 points) stood out for the losing squad.

Game 3 will be played in Athens on Tuesday (23/04). If the Greeks win, they will force a Game 4 on Thursday (25/04). But, if the Spaniards win, they will sweep the series and will qualify to the Final Four to defend their title.
