In a late thriller at the Sinan Erdem Dome, Adam Hanga made the two-pointer, with 28 seconds to go, and led Barcelona past Anadolu Efes in Game 2 of the best-of-five series (72-74). Thanks to this win, the Catalans tied the series and “stole” the home-court advantage (1-1).

The Catalans made a better start and earned an eight-point lead (16-24), closing the first half in front by four (34-38).

In the third quarter, the Turks went on a 14-2 run to take control (54-47). The “Blaugrana” reacted and reclaimed the lead (61-68), but the hosts fought back and tied the game (72-72).

Hanga, though, made the game-winning shot and Barcelona escaped from Istanbul with the victory, as Efes came up short in its two final possessions.

Hanga led the winners with 17 points, while Ante Tomic added 13 points and seven rebounds. Four players scored in double figures for the losing squad, with Shane Larkin posting a game-high 18 points.

Game 3 and 4 will be played in Barcelona on Wednesday (24/04) and Friday (26/04).
