In an interview with lrytas.lt, Jonas Valanciunas referred to his participation in the 2019 World Cup and his future with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Here is what the 26-year-old center said:
On playing for Lithuania in China: “If they aren’t any health issues or other conditions that won’t allow me to play, I definitely will play.”
On keep playing for the Grizzlies: “The coach trusted me a lot. It was fun to play for the Grizzlies. Coach focused on big players and I liked it. He’s gone, but this is just a business and GMs making decisions that would be the best for the team. I would like to carry on playing for the Grizzlies.”
