According to the New York Post, NYPD is investigating a rape allegation against Dallas Mavericks star, Kristaps Porzingis.
Per the report, Porzingis is accused by a woman of raping her on February 7, 2018. The woman, who is considered “believable” by the police, says Porzingis raped her in the apartment the player lived in New York.
The owner of the Mavs, Mark Cuban, declined to comment on the allegations, due to instructions by federal authorities, while Porzingis’ attorney Roland G. Riopelle stated the player’s side unequivocally denies all allegations.
Adrian Wojnarowski of the ESPN took to Twitter and said the New York Knicks had informed Dallas of the pending rape allegations against Porzingis.
