Barcelona stood tall in the “El Clasico” and defeated Real Madrid at home (77-70) to maintain a play-off push.

The “Whites” came back from a double-digit deficit (50-39, 67-54) and were down by five twice in the second half (56-51, 75-70). Yet, the Catalans retained their lead and claimed a big win at home.

Ante Tomic (22 points, 13 rebounds) and Thomas Heurtel (17 points, 10 assists) were the best players of the winners.

Rudy Fernandez had 15 points for the losing squad, with Jaycee Carroll adding 10.

Barcelona improved to 15-9, whereas Real Madrid dropped to 18-6.
