Colin O'ReillyThe Cheshire Jets are delighted to announce they have secured the signature of Colin O'Reilly one of Irelands leading players. The 6ft 7 former UCC Demons star racked up an impressive set of stats last season which saw him named as MVP of the year for the Irish League as well as Irish Cup winner and Irish Superleague Champion.

Jets coach Paul Smith had been monitoring the youngsters progress for the past couple of seasons with a view to bringing him to the Northgate.

Coach said; "It's quite a coup for the Jets to bring Colin to Chester we know there were a few clubs in the BBL in competition with us to sign him up so we were thrilled he chose us. Colin is one of the first players we spoke to at the beginning of the summer he is an excellent three point shooter and a great passer. He is a real team player with great team ethics that will easily fit into the side.

Colin is due to jet into Chester on the 1st of September after he returns from international duty with Ireland, they face Slovak next in their final group game after Colin lead the side to victory in their European qualifier against Luxemburg at the weekend. O'Reilly was named top scorer with an impressive 25 points.

The first game of the season see's the Jets new line up take on last season's league winners Newcastle Eagles on the 25th of September. While the first home game of the season kicks off on the 27th against Milton Keynes.
