Gran Canaria have concluded their first sgining of the season by reaching an agreement with the American guard Jaycee Carroll who will be wearing the Green-Yellow jersey for the next two seasons.
Carroll (188cm, PG) played for the Italian side of Teramo last season where he averaged 15.9 ppg and a remarkable (for his height) 4.6 rpg with great shooting percentages both from the field and the chrity line.
The 25 year old Utah State College graduate who is now taking part in NBA summer leagues with New Orlean hornets was a target for several European clubs but he chose Gran Canaria, something which delighted the club's Sport Director Himar Ojeda who stated that he had persnally followed him for some time now and is happy he managed to bring him the Canary Islands.
