Olu BabalolaEverton Tiger's power forward Olu Babalola has renewed his commitment to the Blues by signing a new contract. The former Newcastle Eagles player arrived on Merseyside last season and was a key contributor to the club's second place finish and BBL cup win.

The new one year contract will see the GB international stay at Greenbank for the upcoming campaign.

Tigers' chairman Gary Townsend is delighted that the 27 year old is staying at the club.

He said: "Olu had a fantastic season for us last year and it's great to be welcoming him back.

"Not only does he bring a wide set of skills on the court but he is also an excellent ambassador in the community for the Tigers."
