NBA announced that the New Orleans Pelicans power forward/center Anthony Davis has been fined $50.000 after his agent publicly demanding trade and “violating a collectively-bargained rule prohibiting players or their representatives from making public trade demands.

The fine is for statements that were made by Davis’ agent, Rich Paul, in an intentional effort to undermine the contractual relationship between Davis and the Pelicans,” per Bleacher Report.

In his age-25 season, Anthony Davis is averaging 29.3 points, 13.3 rebounds, 2.6 blocks and 4.4 assists per game, while shooting at 50.8 percent from the floor and 32.5 from three in 37.0 minutes of action.
