The Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis had 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists helping his team take the 11th win of the season by defeating the New Orleans Pelicans.

After the game the 27-year-old forward shared his thoughts on what helped the Lakers overcome an early 15-point deficit and emerge victorious in the end.

“It’s the energy and effort. Slow start. No excuses,” AD said. “This team haven’t played in 7 days. We knew they would come out with a lot of energy, a lot of effort. We were slow defensively. We were slow offensively. I think in the first quarter they were shooting 60% from the field… and we were shooting in the 20’s.

“It started with DS’ ball pressure. He got two back-to-back steals and it kind of got us going. We fed off his energy. That’s usually what it is. It takes us one play to get us going.”
