In a late thriller in Vitoria, Baskonia stood tall against Armani Milano and remained alive in the qualification race (80-75).

The Italians took control from the opening tip and led by as many as 14 points in the first half (35-49).

Yet, the Basques turned things around and were in front by seven, with six minutes to go (68-61). The visitors came back again (70-69), but the hosts made some big shots to seal the deal.

Four players scored in double figures for the winners, as Vincent Poirier had 17 points and eight rebounds.

Mike James led the losing squad with 27 points, seven boards and five assists, but couldn’t give his team the victory.

Baskonia improved to 9-10. whereas Armani Milano dropped to 8-11.
