Despite the loss to Bamberg (77-73), AEK Athens became the first team that secured its place to the knockout stage of the BCL.
The defending champions are currently on top of Group C, with an 8-2 record, and have officially qualified to the playoffs.
With four games remaining, they will now fight with Hapoel Jerusalem (7-2) and Bamberg (7-3) for the top spot in the Group.
