ImageCajasol won its third game of the season (73-65) against C.B.Granada, thanks to a great defense, and the leadership of new point guard Branko Milisavljevic. Granada could not play its game, and only Curtis Borchardt did a good job.

It was the time to start winning, and it became a fact. Cajasol got a new victory, something hard to see this season, playing as a team, maybe for the first time, thanks to a great defense and being concentrated enough in the crucial moments to keep the advantage.

New player Branko Milisavljevic, in his first game in Seville, made a great impression. He was able to score in some difficult moments, when the team could seem lost, and proved he should be the definitive point guard for the team, after Elmer Bennett, Tyus Edney and DeJuan Collins; too many changes in that position to be a strong team.

The goal was to anulate the outside game of Granada, since is virtually imposible to stop Curtis Borchardt. And they made it. Cajasol started defending in zone 2-3, and it was the same almost all the time, with some changes to drive the rival crazy. The game was bad, with both teams having bad percenteages, and it was easy for Borchardt to get twelve points in these first ten minutes.

The good defense by Cajasol gave them a little advantage in the second quarter, that they hardly managed to keep, since last shoots by Granada left the difference in five points.

The beginning of the third quarter marked the point when Cajasol decided to win the game. They got nine points up, and thanks to Vladimir Scepanovic, who scored ten points, the difference wasn't bigger. Borchardt was out of the game because of personal fouls, so Triguero and Caner-Medley had good minutes scoring with no  problems at all. Nine points up for Cajasol.

But Granada is a tough team, and in the last ten minutes, it seemed that old fears could return to the team. The difference turned out to be five points, but then it was Milisavljevic and Ty Ellis who took the responsability and help the team to get a new win in the league, making possible to believe to stay in ACB next year.
